Dear Sophie,

I’m listening to doctors being interviewed about cancer, in connection to a drug the sponsor is marketing. The doctor speaking doesn’t completely agree to Cancer robbing patients of their independence because most die shortly after having been diagnosed. It’s chilling. I can’t die yet.

I obviously need to start taking better care of my health and staying up until 3pm to speak with Chirp is not helping. Not exercising, snacking on sweets, smoking too much ...

And now this. Worrying. I should, because you are young, fatherless, and my parents are old. er. Than they used to be.

I miss the never ending parties, the taste of vodka, the long drives and the crazy nights that turn into crazy mornings. I miss the dancing and the grinding that almost always follows. I miss the freedom the most. The freedom to be me. To not have to come home and make sure you’re alright and that you have someone who is truly, 100% yours.
